This is what stood out
Nestled in a charming village, this spot offers a delightful stay for dog lovers and families alike. The ample outdoor space and children’s play area are perfect for little ones. Rooms are spacious and cozy, while the food quality, especially at the sister pub, is commendable. Sophie and the staff truly elevate the experience with their friendliness!

Families looking for a cozy stay
Had a lovely time at this quaint place. The bathroom was nicely done, and I had a bath that actually felt like a luxury after a long day! The in-room bar had a good selection of snacks which was a treat after coming back from dinner.
It wasn’t cheap at £95 a night, but I guess you pay for the experience.

I had a lovely time with my family at this cozy spot! The dogs enjoyed running around the little field while we savored a delicious breakfast and the food from the nearby sister pub was a neat bonus during the power cut. Just a heads-up that the walls between rooms are a bit thin, which was slightly distracting, but overall, it was a memorable stay. 😊

Charming rural escape with great service
I had a delightful stay in a Small Twin Room, with a beautifully quirky decor that added a unique touch to my experience. The staff went above and beyond, especially when arrangements were made for us to celebrate our anniversary despite unexpected interruptions. I would have appreciated better communication regarding service availability, but overall it was a memorable experience.

I had a one-night stay in a Small Twin Room. The food was excellent and came in generous portions, which I thoroughly enjoyed. the room was quite cold with limited heating, and I would have appreciated more attention to cleanliness in the common areas. it's a great option for a quick visit, but a few improvements could enhance the experience.

Good breakfast availability.
The room was cold upon arrival, with heating only available for a few hours in the evening. I found it unsettling that I had to request basic amenities, like toilet paper, which should have been provided. The presence of loud locals in the bar was uncomfortable.

great service but room lacked space
The staff, especially Anna, made us feel incredibly welcome and attended to our needs promptly. The quirky décor of the rooms added a unique charm that set this place apart from others.
The room felt a bit cramped for our stay.

Spacious rooms with a charming decor and fantastic local ingredients in the dining options. Limited breakfast choices and the showers had poor temperature control. Easy access to cycling routes nearby makes it a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts.
